"My name is Josh Paurini. I have been playing at the professional basketball level in New Zealand for the last four years.

Early on I had trained using basic plyometrics and as I grew from 5'10" to 6'1" in 2 years, my vertical was increased to around 30" and I did my first alley-oop baseline 360. The training had gotten me to a stage where I could dunk anytime in the warmups with a few dunks here and there in pickup games but I wanted to dunk ON people and in traffic.

My jump had gotten as high as I thought it was going to get and I was getting frustrated as I wasn't seeing the results I wanted.

Around Christmas I had a bad car accident which really got me down and at training I took a charge and smashed two ribs two months before the season was due to begin.
